Children's Author Lisa Wheeler Visits Breakwater - November 20

On Friday, November 20, children’s author Lisa Wheeler will be visiting Breakwater. Wheeler is the author of over twenty popular children’s books, including One Dark Night, Hokey Pokey, and Sailor Moo.

Wheeler will be reading and working with three of her books with the Kindergarten through grade 2 students. For grades 3 to 5, Wheeler will begin her program “In the Mood for Books” where she will go through her process of making Sailor Moo, from the idea stage to the finished book.

Breakwater has 14 of Wheeler’s books currently on display in our library. If students would like to have a book signed by Lisa Wheeler, they must bring their copy with them on November 20.
