Director of Admissions – Full Time
The Director of Admission will oversee the enrollment management process, from point of inquiry through matriculation, with a focus on student retention. He or she will represent the School and its mission to prospective families and the community and will play an active role in marketing strategy.
Requirements:
The candidate must have:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organization and attention to detail

3 years of admissions experience is preferred, though not required
Responsibilities include the following:

To present the School to prospective students and parents, including:
-
The systematic and efficient handling of applications and communications with candidates and their parents

Interviews with candidates and their parents
-
Arrangements for candidate evaluation
-
Securing of necessary student credentials
-
Discussing with families sensitive issues of financial aid and student needs

Communicating final decisions to the appropriate individuals
-
Welcoming new families into the community
-
To evaluate continually all aspects of the admissions and marketing program with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrollment of qualified students and a wait-list of qualified applicants.

To manage re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year.

To manage the process of allocating and tracking financial aid.

To represent the School at various gatherings and conferences, including some events outside of the typical school day hours.

To develop and cultivate relationships with the School’s Faculty.

To support the School and its leadership.
This is a full-time, twelve month position. The nature of the Admissions cycle requires attendance at events and activities outside of normal school hours, particularly in the fall and winter.
