BeforeCare and AfterCare at Breakwater is a place for your child to experience outside play and indoor activities in a safe and well-supervised environment. BeforeCare takes place in the Breakwater Library and is a time for homework, quiet games, and reading. Arts and crafts, games, sports, supervised homework time, and a healthy snack is offered daily in AfterCare. AfterCare will be based in the Dan for students in grades 1 through 8. Both Breakwater and Non-Breakwater Students can attend AfterCare. For students attending other schools, transportation is available.

If your child enrolls in an enrichment course while he or she is contracted in AfterCare, you will be billed the difference between the two costs and will not lose your AfterCare spot. Hours of operation will be 3:00-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. While the majority of our AfterCare students attend Breakwater School, we are happy to accept students from neighboring public and parochial schools and will accommodate the school calendars for all our families as best we can.
